Ahem...here we go.

Hi, I’m Stacey Elliott, the person behind Sugar Webs. I’ve been a freelance web designer and developer since 2005 and I have been building websites long enough to remember when “mobile-friendly” wasn’t even a thing yet. I’m certified through the International Webmasters Association. I’ve worked with a wide range of content management systems, with a strong focus on the Joomla! open-source platform since 2009.

My philosophy is simple: function before fashion.

That doesn’t mean I don’t love clean, beautiful design—it just means your website has a job to do. It should be easy to use, accessible, and built with a purpose. Great design supports that purpose without getting in the way. With today’s world of multiple devices and screen sizes, a functional, well-structured site will always outperform a flashy one.

I build websites that are clean, accessible, organized, and designed to make your life easier. I also help people manage, update, and understand their own sites—because a site you can’t use isn’t a site that works.

I’m here to help. That’s the whole deal.

Whether you need a full site, an update, graphics, social media assistance, presentations, or “hey can you just…,” I’m just an email or phone call away. Consultations are always free. Let’s get your project moving.
